Infinite Incubator

The Infinite Incubator is the orange Incubator every Trainer receives. It never breaks and can hatch an unlimited number of Eggs, although it can hold only one Egg at a time.

For most players, the best strategy is to keep the Infinite Incubator active continuously. Leaving it empty wastes distance that could have contributed toward another hatch.

Standard Egg Incubator

A standard Egg Incubator works at the normal hatch distance and breaks after three uses. It is useful when you want to hatch multiple Eggs simultaneously but do not need the faster distance provided by a Super Incubator.

Standard Incubators are often the more economical choice for routine hatching. They are particularly useful during events that already provide a large hatch-distance reduction.

Super Incubator

Timed Incubator

A Timed Incubator is an additional unlimited-use Incubator that remains active only until a specified expiration date. It has appeared as a reward on selected GO Pass Deluxe tracks, but it is not included in every monthly GO Pass.

When available, the Timed Incubator should be claimed and used as early as possible. Its expiration is normally fixed, so unlocking it late does not extend the deadline.

If an Egg is still inside when the Timed Incubator expires, previous implementations have moved that Egg into a temporary single-use Incubator so it can finish. The temporary Incubator then disappears after the Egg hatches.

What Is the Daily Adventure Egg Incubator?

The Daily Adventure Egg is separate from ordinary Pokémon Eggs and Incubators. Trainers at Level 15 or higher can receive one after their first login on a new day, provided they are not already holding another Daily Adventure Egg.

The Egg is automatically placed in its own Incubator, requires 1 km of exploration, and awards 10,000 XP when it hatches. It does not occupy ordinary Egg storage or consume an Incubator from the Item Bag.

This automatic Incubator cannot be selected for other Eggs. Event hatch-distance and XP bonuses also do not apply to the Daily Adventure Egg, so it should not be treated as a second permanent Infinite Incubator.

Save Super Incubators for 10 km and 12 km Eggs

Super Incubators save more absolute distance on longer Eggs. They reduce a 10 km Egg by about 3.33 km and a 12 km Egg by 4 km.
